Stats: Watson's world record 15 sixes, 15 fours

April 11, 2011

Along with the world record for most sixes in an innings, Shane Watson also erased the mark for most fours, against Bangladesh in the second ODI, says Rajneesh Gupta.

Australia's Shane Watson established a new world record of most sixes in an innings in one-day internationals on Monday, when he hammered 15 against Bangladesh at Mirpur.

The opener's assault easily put West Indian Xavier Marshall's record into shade.

Marshall had hit 12 sixes against Canada in 2008.
