Former Australia Test cricketer Terry Jenner, who mentored spin-bowling great Shane Warne, died at the age of 66 on Wednesday.
Jenner, who took 24 wickets in nine Tests for Australia in the early 1970s, died at home in Adelaide just over a year after suffering a massive heart attack.
"Terry passed away peacefully today just a month and a half after the anniversary of his heart attack," his partner Ann posted on his website (https://terryjenner.blogspot.com/)
Jenner served a prison sentence for embezzlement in the 1980s before going on to become spin bowling coach at the Australian Cricket Academy in Adelaide, where he was credited with having a huge influence on fellow leg-spinner Warne.
