The dashing former India opener started off in whirlwind fashion, scoring 15 runs from the first over he faced off Atish Gawand.
He went on to hammer 18 more from the third over of the innings, bowled by Aditya Dhumal, as CAG raced to 48 without loss by the fourth over.
He surprisingly slowed down thereafter and was clean bowled by Alpesh Ramjani, who picked three wickets for 24.
After his dismissal CAG lost wickets at regular intervals and were restricted to 184 for the loss of eight wickets.
Earlier, Customs put up 184 for six in 20 overs. Sachin Wagh was unbeaten on 67.
Jalaz Saxena (3 for 33) was CAG’s most successful bowler.
Both CAG and Customs progressed to the quarter-finals from the group.
