Former India captain Sourav Ganguly backed Sachin Tendulkar's suggestion of splitting one-day matches into four innings of 25-overs-a-side.
"It's a good idea. But we can think of it after the Champions Trophy," he told reporters in Kolkata on the sidelines of an event.
Tendulkar had suggested the amendment in the format of one-day cricket in the wake of growing popularity of Twenty20 format, which threatens to overtake the 50-over game.
Ganguly was happy over Indian cricket team's march towards the number one ranking.

Asked to comment on the latest row involving off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and a cameraman at Bangalore, Ganguly refused to say anything. "Let me know the facts (first), he quipped.
