RCB get Mandeep Singh from Kings XI Punjab for 2015 IPL season

Royal Challengers Bangalore have traded top-order batsman Mandeep Singh from Kings XI Punjab ahead of the eighth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), starting April 9.

Mandeep has been a consistent performer at the domestic and junior levels, and also in the IPL, over the years. He won the Emerging Player Award for his performance in the 2012 season of the tournament.

Mandeep is sixth player, who has been traded ahead of the 2015 season.

Royal Challengers Bangalore had also traded Iqbal Abdulla from Rajasthan Royals.

"The second trading window before the 2015 season of the Pepsi IPL closes on Friday, 6 February 2015. There will be a third trading window immediately after the 2015 Pepsi IPL Player Auction, which will take place on Monday, 16 February 2015," BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel said in a release.
