"Nayar suffered a hip and ankle injury in the game against Jharkhand and is not available for this match. So too is Akbar Khan who fractured his hand in the same game. They have been replaced by Kaustubh Pawar and Balwinder Singh Sandhu (Jr)," informed Mumbai Cricket Association joint-secretary Nitin Dalal.
Dalal further added that Mumbai's leading pace bowler Dhawal Kulkarni will be out of action for 15 more days after suffering a fractured toe earlier this season.
Mumbai, who were given a fright by Jharkhand and escaped with a draw and a point in their last match, still lead the table with 20 points ahead of their last home game in the league.
