The West Indies Cricket Board and West Indies Players' Association honoured the best performances by West Indian players, in both regional and international cricket, on Tuesday, July 19, in Antigua.
The Indian cricket team was also invited for the awards ceremony.
Skipper Virat Kohli led his boys in formal suits at the event.
The first of the four Tests between India and the West Indies will be played at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, in North Sound, Antigua, from Thursday, July 21.
Marlon Samuels (above) won the Player of the Year award, while Stafanie Taylor bagged the corresponding award for women.
Samuels was also named West Indies ODI Player of the Year.
The members of the West Indies Under-19 team, which was crowned World champions in February, and the West Indies women's and men's T20 World Cup teams were presented commemorative gold rings.
