England is likely to recall star batsman Kevin Pietersen for next month's ODI trip to India.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) will name the squad on Tuesday for the five-match series and a Twenty20 match.
According to Sky Sports, with the 2012 World Twenty20 taking place in Sri Lanka, England will be keen to utilise any practice on slow, turning sub-continental tracks and would want Pietersen in tow unless they considered him dispensable for that event.
