It was an interesting sight in Visakhapatnam on Saturday as the Indian cricket team turned out for the fifth and final ODI against New Zealand with jerseys sporting their mother's names.
While captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni had 'Devaki' inscribed on the back of his jersey, his deputy Virat Kohli's jersey had the words 'Saroj'.
The Indian players aree sporting their mother's names instead of their surnames, to acknowledge their mother's contributions to their respective careers.
