South Africa fast bowling spearhead Dale Steyn had a go with his wrestling skills over the weekend, but it was not a regular opponent he chose to take on.
The pacer, who has been rested for the last two matches in the ODI series against the West Indies, had faced tough opponents, like Chris Gayle, on the pitch. Over the weekend, though, he decided to wrestle a powerful lioness!
Steyn loves spending time outdoors, and after using up some of his much-needed downtime getting friendly with the lioness posted a video on his Instagram account on Sunday.
The lioness displayed her superiority for a few seconds before a ranger pulled her massive paw from over Steyn's head, according to a newspaper report.
The speedster is also a fishing fanatic. In Zimbabwe Steyn had injured himself during a fishing trip.
During one of his fishing trips he tweeted: 'Wind blew hard today but still managed to catch this beauty! Roughly 2kg, nice on the float tube! New secret spot.'
When not playing cricket the fast bowler also runs marathons. In the above picture, he shows off his GunRun 21km medal.
