Statistical highlights of the fifth and final cricket ODI played between India and New Zealand in Chennai on Friday.

# Ravichandran Ashwin (3 for 24) has recorded his career-best bowling performance, bettering the 3 for 50 against New Zealand at Guwahati on November 28, 2010.

# Ashwin is the top wicket-taker in the series -- 11 at 21.90 runs apiece.

# Ashish Nehra became the eleventh Indian bowler to complete 150 wickets in ODIs -- 151 at 31.03 runs apiece.

# Yusuf Pathan, with 8 wickets at 16.75 runs apiece and at a strike rate of 19.5, has recorded his best bowling performance in an ODI series.

# New Zealand (103) posted their lowest total against India in ODIs, eclipsing the 118 at Dambulla on August 25, 2010. This was also New Zealand's lowest total in 2010. Overall, the said total is their seventh lowest in the history of ODIs.

# New Zealand's lowest ever total in ODIs is 64 against Pakistan at Sharjah on April 15, 1986.

# Gautam Gambhir has recorded his eighth duck in ODIs -- his first against New Zealand.

# Gambhir's runs' tally of 329 in five ODIs at an average of 109.66 is the highest by an Indian player in a bilateral series against New Zealand.

# Gambhir's run-aggregate is the third best by a skipper in a bilateral ODI series. The record is held by South Africa's Kepler Wessels -- 342 (avg. 48.85) -- in seven games against India in 1992-93, followed by Pakistan's Inzamam-ul-Haq against India in 2003-04 -- 340 (avg. 68.00) -- in five games.

# Gambhir has got Man of the series award for the first time in an ODI series.

# Yuvraj Singh has received his 21st Man of the Match award in ODIs -- his first against New Zealand.

# Parthiv Patel's match-winning unbeaten 56 is his career-best innings in ODIs -- his second fifty. He had recorded 53 against New Zealand at Bangalore on December 7, 2010.

# New Zealand's previous lowest against India on Indian soil was 126 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on November 29, 1995.

# India have recorded their 46th win in 88 ODIs against New Zealand -- winning % 55.42.

# India have won six ODIs in a row against New Zealand between August 25, 2010 and December 10, 2010.

# India have posted a clean-sweep (5-0) for the third time in ODIs (minimum four games) -- the first two instances being against New Zealand by 4-0 in 1988-89 and against England by 5-0 in 2008-09.

# India's 5-0 win is their fourth series victory against New Zealand in India.

# India have registered their largest win over New Zealand in terms of balls remaining (173), bettering their win by 7 wickets with 160 balls remaining at Auckland on March 27, 1994.
