# Martin's outstanding figures against India are his best on foreign soil, eclipsing the 5 for 37 against South Africa at Johannesburg in May 2006.

# New Zealand (459) have posted their highest total at Motera, surpassing the 340 in October 2003.

# India have lost five wickets for 15 runs in their second innings -- their second-worst score at five down in their Test history. # Pragyan Ojha (4/107) has recorded his career-best bowling figures, surpassing the 4 for 115 against Sri Lanka at Colombo (PSS) in August 2010.

# Kane Williamson (131 off 299 balls) has registered his maiden Test hundred apart from posting the highest by a New Zealand debutant on foreign soil, bettering the 107 by Scott Styris against West Indies at St. George's on June 28, 2002.
