568 runs aggregated by Sachin Tendulkar in Test matches on New Zealand soil -- most by any Indian. He went ahead of Mohammad Azharuddin who had aggregated 521 runs.

78 percent deliveries of Indian innings were dots. New Zealand batsmen had 71% scoreless deliveries in their first innings.

70 Tendulkar's score -- his highest in a Test at Hamilton. His previous best was 67 in 1998-99.

3 Virender Sehwag was dismissed run-out for the third time in his Test career. Interestingly, Gautam Gambhir has been on the other end on all the three occasions!

0 Number of matches lost by India on foreign soil after getting a first innings lead of 100 or more. So, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and company should be eyeing for a lead of at least 100 on day three on Friday.
