Test cricketers Ashish Nehra and Harbhajan Singh are in Lahore on a sightseeing visit after tight security during Indian cricket team's tour last year denied them to explore the historic city.

The Indian bowlers landed in Lahore on Thursday and also plan to visit Karachi. Nehra is expected to accompany Pakistan cricketers to Johannesburg for next week's Afro-Asian Series while Harbhajan will return home.

"Ashish and Harbhajan called me from Lahore and indicated that they would be coming to Karachi. It would be a privilege to host them when they come to Karachi," flamboyant Pakistan opener Shahid Afridi said on Friday night.

"This once again proves that off-the-field, we are good friends and enjoy each others company. Of course, in the field, we are competitive and great rivals because we carry the hopes of our supporters but off-the-field, things are different," Afridi, who has held several thrilling battles with the duo, said.

The Indian duo are staying in a five-star hotel in Lahore and besides visiting friends, made trips to the famous Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Anarkali Bazar and food street.
