Brad Hodge and Kumar Sangakkara added 105 runs for the unbroken third wicket stand as Gemini Arabians notched up their second successive victory in the Masters Champions League T20 tournament beating Leo Lions by eight wickets, in Dubai, on Saturday.
Batting first, Leo Lions scored 132 for seven with Sri Lankan spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan picking up 4/19 in 4 overs. Herchedlle Gibbs and Scott Styris contributed 35 and 32 respectively.
In reply, Hodge and Sangakkara remained undefeated on 65 and 41 respectively to take the team home in 18 overs.
Hodge's 43 ball innings had five fours and two sixes while Sangakkara's run-a-ball 41 had three boundaries.
