Line and Strength is the tell-all story of an Australian country boy, who from working in the land in Narromine went all the way to winning the World Cup thrice.

McGrath shares the story of his life, his career, his fierce determination, his wife Jane, who died in June this year after battling cancer for 11 years, and his foundation, which is a major fundraiser for people with breast cancer.
