Lalit Modi is likely to quit as IPL commissioner and chairman after the tournament final this weekend.BCCI chief Shashank Manohar, who is in Capital, will meet Sharad Pawar later in the day to discuss the issue.
Pawar had held an informal meeting with BCCI colleagues in Dubai, with Manohar on a conference call.
If sources are to be believed, then Manohar in all probability, will take over as IPL chairman.
