Former South Africa all-rounder Lance Klusener and ex-baseball player Julien Fountain are set to be appointed as Bangladesh bowling and fielding coaches, the Bangladesh Cricket Board said on Tuesday.
"We are at the closing stage of signing a deal with them. Hopefully they will join our national set-up before the home series against New Zealand in October," BCB spokesman Jalal Yunus told reporters.
The 38-year-old Klusener, who played 49 Tests and 171 one-day internationals as a big-hitting middle-order batsman and seam bowler, has completed a coaching course in South Africa and this would be his first international job.
Englishman Fountain was fielding coach to teams including West Indies, Pakistan and England.
