To help develop spinners in India, Terry Jenner, mentor of the legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne, commenced his five-day coaching camp at the MAC Spin Foundation in Chennai on Saturday.

The camp, a part of the MAC Spin Foundation programme, had a dozen potential bowlers.

Peter Fernandez, coach of the MAC Spin Foundation, said that Jenner is communicative and the boys have adjusted to him well. The trainees are in the age group of 13 to 17.

"Jenner keeps his methods of training rather simple and not complicated. The boys must be lucky to learn from this world famous Aussie, who is very knowledgeable in the art of spin bowling and the first day in office for Jenner was to assess the boys," Fernandez said.

"He has almost assessed each boy. Jenner will hold a video session with the boys. Each boys' action, run-up to the crease and the delivery of the ball have been videographed and the Aussie will explain the mistakes and strong points of the trainees in the afternoon session tomorrow," he added.

According to Fernandez, there would be two sessions at the camp daily in the morning and afternoon and the Australian will wind up the camp on September 20.

Following are the Indian bowlers attending Jenner's camp: Chetan Nanda (Delhi Ranji player), Rahul Bharadwaj (Delhi Under-19), Anshul Tripati (Punjab Under-19), Rahul Sharma (Punjab Ranji player), Shyamjit (Kerala Ranji player), N Manish (Karnataka Under-19), Arun Kumar, Kiran Prasad, S Samuel, Venkatesh (all Tamil Nadu Under-17 players).
