The ninth edition of the Indian Premier League 2016, which got underway on April 9, features eight teams and some of the world’s best cricketers.
Following the suspension of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, Rising Pune Supergiants and Gujarat Lions were inducted as the new teams for the next two seasons of the cash-rich Twenty20 extravaganza.
