Following Yuvraj Singh's statement that he has no intentions of leaving Kings XI Punjab, the team management has reiterated that the flambouyant left-hander was an integral part of the team.
"Yuvraj is an integral part of KXIP. We are happy that he would like to stay with KXIP. He is a valuable player and has contributed immensely to the team's performances in all the three seasons of IPL," said KXIP chief executive officer Anil Srivatsa in a statement.
Srivatsa's response came in the wake of Yuvraj's clarification that he never wanted to leave KXIP and enjoyed playing for the Mohali-based team in the Indian Premier League.
"At no time have I said I'll shift to another team. I've always enjoyed playing for Kings XI," Yuvraj had said a few days ago.
