Deccan Chargers captainĀ Adam Gilchrist and Chennai Super Kings batsman Suresh Raina are locked in a keen tussle at the top of the run scoring charts in the Indian Premier League.
Currently, Gilchrist with a tally of 1090 runs in 37 matches leads Raina by just one run.
Chennai's Matthew Hayden (988) is also closing in on the 1000-run mark in the IPL.
