The Indian cricket team will play a warm-up match against New Zealand in Potchefstroom, South Africa, on September 20, before heading into competition at the eight-nation tournament.
The International Cricket Council on Thursday announced that the warm-up matches, a prelude to the ICC Champions Trophy, will carry no official ODI status and will be played on September 18 and 20 in Potchefstroom, Benoni and Pretoria.
The Champions Trophy will be staged at The Wanderers and Centurion from September 22 to October 5.
