Alastair Cook moved to the top rung in the leading run-scores' list for 2011 after his marathon 294 in the third Test between England and India at Edgbaston last week.
His knock was not only instrumental in England's innings and 242-run defeat, but also helped them dethrone India from the No. 1 spot in Tests.
Cooik, who had poor scores in the first two Tests of the ongoing series, also catapulted to a career-best No 3 in the ICC rankings.
Here's a look at the top performers in Tests this year.
