Athletes dedicating wins to their families, friends and even pets is quite common but flamboyant England off-spinner Graeme Swann has dedicated the ODI series triumph over India to the London Zoo because he happened to have a good time there.
After the rain-hit tied match against India gave England a winning 2-0 lead in the five-match series, Swann went out with his family to the London Zoo.
"I dedicate the series win to London zoo. Had a great time there with Wilf and Mrs Swann yesterday," Swann tweeted.
England have had a superb run against India, whitewashing the visitors 4-0 in the Test series before the ODIs.
The English had also beaten Mahendra Singh Dhoni's men in the only Twenty20 match that was played before the one-dayers, the first of which was rained out.
