- Scorecard / Congratulate Dravid

Playing his 157th Test, Dravid achieved the landmark when he played a late-cut off pacer Tim Bresnan in the 54th over at Kennington Oval.

Sachin Tendulkar leads the all-time list of Test century makers with 51 tons.

Thanks to his solid knock, Dravid now sits at the fourth place on the all-time list of most Test century makers in the history of cricket.

Dravid, who signalled his arrival on the international scene with a classy 96 at Lord's way back in 1996, had recorded his 34th ton in the second Test against England at the Trent Bridge. He has scored three centuries in a series for the first time since 2002.

Known as 'The Wall', he also got to the three-figure mark during the Indian team's tour of the West Indies recently.

Coming into this match with 12,616 runs from 156 Tests, at an average of 52.56, Dravid stands second on the all-time list of highest run-getters in this form of the game, behind Tendulkar.

The former India captain's highest Test score is 270, which came against Pakistan in 2004.
