Rohit Sharma entered record books by slamming his second One-day double century off 151 balls against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday.
Sharma registered the highest score in ODIs in the 50-overs' format in the fourth ODI against Sri Lanka.
The Mumbai right-hander achieved the feat in grand style, hitting 26 fours and five sixes, in the 46th over.
Exactly a year back, Sharma had smashed 209 against Australia in Bangalore in November 2013.
He eclipsed Virender Sehwag's record of 219, against the West Indies in Indore in 2011.
Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar (200 not out) are the other two who have scaled the 200-run mark in One-dayers.
