# Mahendra Singh Dhoni's unbeaten 45 off 56 balls is his highest score in seven innings in ODIs, since recording an unbeaten 51 off 40 balls vs West Indies at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi on October 11, 2014.

# Dhoni's unbeaten 45 is his highest in international cricket in Australia since December 2014.

# After nine years, India have bowled out their opponent in four consecutive ODIs -- the last occasion being in 2006.

# Dhoni remains the only batsman to have recorded an average of 100-plus in successful chases -- his aggregate being 2208 runs (ave 105.14) in 80 matches (58 innings) -- the highest by any batsman in successful chases (Minimum qualification: 2,000 runs)

# Jason Holder (57 off 64 balls) posted his highest ODI score, bettering the 56 vs South Africa at Sydney on February 27, 2015.  His back-to-back fifties are his only two half centuries in ODIs. Both the fifties have come in a losing cause.

# Holder became the second batsman to post two fifties while batting at number nine. Lance Klusener (SA) had accomplished the feat -- 52 not out vs Sri Lanka at Northampton on May 19, 1999 and 52 not out vs Zimbabwe at Chelmsford on May 29, 1999. Holder emulated Klusener's feat -- 57 vs India at Perth on March 6, 2015 and 56 vs South Africa at Sydney on February 27, 2015. Australia's Andy Bichel, Sri Lanka's Guy de Alwis and Zimbabwe's Ian Butchart have achieved the distinction once each.

# Holder and Jerome Taylor were associated in a 51-run stand -- the highest ninth-wicket partnership by a West Indian pair in World Cups, bettering the 42 by the same pair against South Africa at Sydney on February 27, 2015.

# Denesh Ramdin recorded his first duck in World Cups -- his third in ODIs.  He has posted five single-digit scores out of ten World Cup innings played.

# Chris Gayle, with 279 runs at an average of 55.80 in five innings, is the leading run-getter in World Cup 2015.

# Andre Russell has recorded his best bowling figures (2/43) in ODIs in Australia.
