Former Australian pacer Brett Lee, on Thursday, hinted that he is keen on mentoring Indian bowlers in the near future if asked to do so.

"I am keen on helping Indian bowlers but I am not seeking a full-time role. But yes I am really keen on helping out pace bowlers across the world," one of Australia's finest fast bowlers, Lee said.

Come March 10, India will be meeting last edition's giant killers Ireland at Seddon Park in Hamilton and Lee will be "helping out" the young Irish speedsters like Max Sorensen, Stuart Thompson, Craig Young along with the seasoned Alex Cusack.

"Yes, I am helping out Ireland during the World Cup," confirmed Lee, who has taken 310 Test and 380 ODI wickets for the 'Baggy Greens' and also been a part of two World Cup winning squads in 2003 (South Africa) and 2007 (West Indies).

It has been a seamless transformation from playing top level competitive cricket to passing on the expertise to the Gen-Next for the colourful Australian, who enjoys immense popularity amongst the sub-continental teams.

"I have helped Bangladesh during my playing days. I remember having a session with their bowlers before we played them in one international series," Lee recollected.

For someone, who played his last international match for Australia in July 2012, Lee was much in demand in the last couple of years as he plied his trade as a T20 freelancer across private leagues around the world including the popular Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League.

He ended a 15-year-competitive career with a sizzling performance for Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League final against Perth Scorchers at Canberra only a week back.

In his last over in competitive cricket, Lee was on a hat-trick after dismissing two Scorchers batsmen before the opposition won a keenly contested final.
