The latest ICC One-Day International rankings for ODI batsmen have mixed news for India.
Medium pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar dropped a place to eighth in the bowlers' rankings while left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja stayed on ninth.
Out of action for a while now, Dhoni missed the five-match series against Sri Lanka.
In the team rankings, India held on to second place, behind Australia, while Bangladesh opened up a 22-point lead over Zimbabwe after sealing a 5-0 series sweep with a five-wicket victory in Mirpur on Monday.
Ninth-placed Bangladesh closed the gap with New Zealand and the West Indies, who each have 96 points, to 21 points.
