England paceman James Anderson celebrated his 33rd birthday in style. Just a day before his birthday, Anderson took six wickets and put England in control on the first day of the third Test at Edgbaston on Wednesday.
But for some reasons the birthday boy didn’t look pleased with himself on social media.
Take a look at how his teammates tried to cheer him up on his big day.
"Happy 33rd Birthday James Anderson. All I asked for was a smile on his birthday," tweeted his teammate Stuart Broad.
There was someone else in the dressing room who wanted Anderson to be cheerful.
"Happy birthday to James Anderson, cheerful as ever," wrote Joe Root on his Twitter handle.
Anderson, who went wicketless in London, took four wickets in 19 balls after lunch to leave Australia in tatters.
