Chris Gayle will replace Shahid Afridi in the ICC World XI line-up for the second Super series ODI against Australia at the Telstra Dome in Melbourne on Friday.
A 12-man team has been picked to take on Australia from which a SuperSub will be confirmed before the toss.
World XI lost the first ODI on Wednesday by 93 runs.
