Indian captain Sourav Ganguly is uncertain for the Duleep Trophy match between East Zone and Central Zone in Gwalior on February 15 due to a side strain.
"Ganguly is nursing a side strain and may not play in the match against Central Zone," Cricket Association of Bengal sources said in Kolkata on Sunday.
The injury, however, "is nothing serious," they said.
Bengal all-rounder Laxmi Ratan Shukla would lead East Zone if Ganguly is unable to play, the sources said.
