Sourav had called Ranbir 'a shame'

October 01, 2004

In 2000, when Sourav Ganguly took over as captain of the Indian team from Sachin Tendulkar, he had made some unflattering remarks about a cricket official from Haryana named Ranbir Singh Mahendra, who was the team manager on Ganguly's first tour to Australia, way back in 1991-92.

The same Mahendra has now been elected president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
