Mumbai's star batter Sarfaraz Khan has married a girl from Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sarfaraz, who plays for Delhi Capitals in IPL, look handsome in a black Sherwani during the wedding ceremony his in-laws' place, while bride looked elegant in a red traditional wedding dress.
Sarfaraz told a local news portal that it was his "destiny to get married in Kashmir".
"If the Almighty has destined, I will play for India one day," the cricketer, who has been scoring heavily on the domestic circuit, said.
Some of his Mumbai and IPL team-mates were quick to congratulate Sarfaraz.
"Kya baat hai bahut bahut badhai (Wow many congratulations)," commented Suryakumar Yadav on his Instagram post.
Chris Gayle, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Tilak Varma, Axar Patel and Umran Malik also wished the couple on social media.
