Virender Sehwag roared back to form with a sparkling century on Day 1 of the first Test against England in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
He smashed 117 off 117 balls to register his highest score against England, bettering the 106 at Trent Bridge in 2002.
This was the right-hander's 13th century in Tests in India -- his first after 30 innings. He last hit a hundred two years ago, when he smashed 173 against New Zealand at this same venue.
Sehwag entertained the crowd, hitting 15 boundaries and a six, as 74 of his runs came through the off-side.
