India pacer Umesh Yadav was, on Friday, ruled out of the remaining two matches of the series against England due to a finger injury, he sustained in the third ODI in Mohali.
The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) has replaced Yadav with Karnataka pacer
India won the third ODI by five wickets last night to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
India take on England in the penultimate match of the series in Mumbai on Sunday. The final game will be played in Kolkata on October 25.
"Umesh Yadav sustained an injury during the Mohali ODI against England and has been ruled out of the remainder of the ODI series against England. Abhimanyu Mithun has been named his replacement. He will join the Indian team in Mumbai," BCCI Secretary Sanjay Jagdale said.
Yadav, the 23-year-old Vidharbha bowler, took four wickets for 153 runs in the three matches he played.
