Durham pacer Graham Onions will replace injured seamer Chris Woakes in the England squad for the last two ODIs and the one-off Twenty20 against India, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has stated.
"Woakes suffered the injury on Sunday during England practice in Delhi and will now undertake rehabilitation period that rules him out of the remaining three ODIs against India," the ECB stated.
Onions will join the squad in Mumbai ahead of the fourth ODI on October 23. The 22-year-old Woakes didn't feature in the playing XI during the first two internationals even though he played in the couple of warm-up games against Hyderabad XI.
In the first warm-up game, he scored 46 not out and grabbed two for 30 while in the second game he went for 28 runs without picking a wicket.
