Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has called for the inclusion of out-of-favour spinner Harbhajan Singh in the T20 and ODI squads, citing his recent good form in domestic cricket.
His last One-Day International, however, was in 2011, against the West Indies in Antigua, while his last T20 outing was against Australia at Colombo, in the ICC World T20 in 2012.
"I believe the selectors don't think much on this [Harbhajan's selection] and especially when you have captain's men around. I think Bhajji can make a comeback to the national side in both forms of the game," Ganguly had said on Tuesday.
He also questioned the inclusion of the ‘predictable’ Amit Mishra in the Asia Cup and Twenty20 World Cup squads, and favoured the inclusion of Pragyan Ojha.
Considering that Ravichandra Ashwin too has under-performed of late, does Harbhajan merit a comeback in the Indian squad?
