India pacer Dhawal Kulkarni tied the nuptial knot with Shradha Kharpude, a fashion co-ordinator, in a private ceremony in Mumbai, on Thursday.
The couple had met four years ago through a common friend.
The marriage ceremony was attended by the couple's family members and close friends. Dhawal and Shradha were dressed in Maharashtrian traditional attire.
Kulkarni's Mumbai team mate, India batsman Rohit Sharma, who is currently in Bangladesh for national duty, took to social networking site to congratulate the couple.
"Wishing my buddy @dhawal_kulkarni and Shraddha a very happy married life! My FaceTime presence was felt," he wrote on his Twitter handle.
Former India batsman Robin Uthappa also tied the knot with tennis player Sheethal Goutham.
Irfan Pathan and Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla, who were present on the occasion, also took to twitter to congratulate Uthappa and Sheethal.
"My brother @robbieuthappa wis u a great married life.may u always keep laughing the way u do #robinsheethal," Pathan tweeted.
"Robin uthappa and Sheetal .. Now man and wife ...!!congratulatttiioonnss ...!!" said Chawla.
