Phillip Hughes's family has selected Australia Test skipper Michael Clarke, opener Aaron Finch, and South Australia's Tom Cooper to be pall-bearers at the late cricketer's funeral in Macksville on Wednesday afternoon.
The chosen cricketers will be among the eight pall-bearers, which includes Hughes's dad Greg, brother Jason and locals Corey Ireland, Mitchell Lonergan and Matthew Day, News.com.au reported.
A gathering of more than 5000 people, who will join the Hughes family -- dignitaries, Test cricketers, former players and team -- are likely join the gathering to bid him farewell.
Hughes passed away after succumbing to injuries he endured from a bouncer at the SCG.
The 25-year-old, who was pushing for a Test recall against India in Brisbane next week, was knocked out after the ball made impact under his helmet, behind his left ear.
