South Africa's Titans and England's Hampshire were, on Friday, allowed to replace their injured players -- Marchant de Lange and Danny Briggs respectively -- by the Champions League Twenty20 Technical Committee.
CJ de Villiers has replaced Marchant in the Titans, squad after the latter was diagnosed with a back injury that will keep him out of the tournament scheduled next month.
David Balcombe has replaced England T20 international Briggs in the Hampshire squad.
Briggs is due to be married and will be away on his honeymoon at the same time as Hampshire plays their second match in the Qualifier against Sialkot Stallions on October 11 and would also be unavailable if England's domestic T20 champions progress to the Group Stage.
As a result, the CLT20 Technical Committee has approved Hampshire's application to replace Briggs for the duration of the tournament.
