Trinidad & Tobago might have notched up a convincing 25-run win over Brisbane Heat on Sunday, but captain, Denesh Ramdin is not satisfied with the performance of his batsmen.
Asked about how much motivation the players derived from Brian Lara's presence during the match, Ramdin said he advised the Caribbean cricketers to stay there on the wicket.
"He (Lara) talked to the younger players, also myself, He asked us to stick there for 20 overs, and not to rush," Ramdin said.
Asked whether the two crucial important wickets of Sunil Narine was the turning point of the match, he said: "I believe his two wickets pulled us out. He bowled really well. We wanted wickets at that situation. And we had (Ravi) Rampaul (4/14) finish it off."
