Following are the statistical highlights of the group A Champions Trophy match between India and Australia which was abandoned due to rain.

# Tim Paine recorded his first fifty against India - his second in ODIs. Paine's innings 58-ball 56 balls is his second best score - his best being 111 against England at Nottingham on September 17, 2009. 

# The Centurion ODI was the eighth game involving India and Australia, which could not produce a result. 

# Australia have won 57 and lost 32 out of 97 matches against India. 

# Mike Hussey (67) posted his first fifty in the ICC Champions Trophy. His 23rd half-century in ODIs is his second against India. 

# Hussey took his run-aggregate in ODIs this year to 778 - a tally exceeded only by Michael Clarke (868) and Ricky Ponting (787). 

# Hussey's innings was his best against India, bettering an unbeaten 65 at Melbourne on February 10, 2008. 

# Ricky Ponting posted his sixth fifty against India - his 70th in ODIs.

# Shane Watson, with his third consecutive duck, is the first player to post four ducks in the ICC Champions Trophy.
