England cricket coach Peter Moores has admitted that there is no guarantee that England skipper Alastair Cook would remain as the team captain for the forthcoming World Cup.
He further said that personally he would have Alastair as captain for the World Cup , adding that they would review at the end of the series not only Alastair's captaincy but also the whole team in order to select the final squad, the BBC reported.
England lost four consecutive One-day series under the leadership of skipper Cook since last year's Champions Trophy. Currently, they trail Sri Lanka by 2-4 in the ongoing seven-match ODI series.
Cook has scored 499 runs at an average of 24.95 during his last 21 ODIs.
