After hammering the Kiwis 3-0 in the Test series, the focus now shifts to white-ball cricket with the first of the five-game ODI series starting in Dharamsala on Sunday, October 16.

Limited overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni returns for India along with limited-overs specialists Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Manish Pandey and Axar Patel.

New Zealand will be bolstered by star allrounder Corey Anderson's presence as Captain Kane Williamson looks to avenge the Test defeat.

Dhoni's men will need to win the ODI series by a 4-1 margin to claim the third place on the ICC ODI Championship.
