An old bat used by Australian cricket legend Don Bradman during the Ashes tour of England in 1930 would go under the hammer in Sydney on Sunday and it is expected to fetch up to USD 20,000.

The cricket bat has Sir Bradman's signatures on the reverse side and is covered in signatures of the Australian and English players on the front side, the ABC Online reported.

Also termed as "The Ultimate Backyard Bat" by a sport memorabilia expert, it would surely be a thing to treasure by the cricket fans.

The Australiana Auction, held in Erskinville by Allder's Auction House, will also have the air-helmet and goggles used by Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, the first man to fly from the United States to Australia.
