The start of the Indian Premier League match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore was delayed following explosions outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday.
Apparently explosive hidden inside a bag caused the blasts outside Gate No.12.
There has been no confirmation as yet though the police sources said they suspect it might not been an accident that was believed to be the case earlier.
Eight people, including three policemen, have been injured in the blast.
More confirmations are awaited.
