The Court has also asked the BCCI to file a counter affidavit explaining their problems in detail on implementation of Lodha Reforms
Stating that the Lodha Committee recommendations matter, the Supreme Court, on Friday, postponed the hearing in the Board of Control for Cricket in India vs Lodha Commission case to October 17.
According to ANI, the Supreme Court barred the BCCI from disbursing any funds to the state associations.
Chief Justice of India, T S Thakur said that "state associations will not get funds unless a resolution is passed to implement Justice Lodha committee reforms".
The Court has also asks BCCI president Anurag Thakur to file a personal affidavit citing details of his conversation with ICC chief Dave Richardson regarding Lodha recommendations.
The apex court has also asked the BCCI to file a counter affidavit explaining their problems in detail on implementation of Lodha Reforms.
"I think are forced to come to a situation where they (BCCI) are asking for their suspension by this court," the CJI said at the hearing on Friday.
Also, the decision on having an adhoc body will be argued on October 17.
Earlier, on Thursday, the apex court came down heavily on the BCCI over not completely complying with the recommendations of the Lodha Panel.
Thakur also gave the Board an ultimatum to unconditionally implement all the reforms suggested by the Lodha Panel for reforming the cricket body.
BCCI now has ten days to give an undertaking that it will abide by the recommendations of the Lodha Panel or face an order of the apex court.
