Mahmud to lead Bangladesh in Pak

Khaled Mahmud was retained as Bangladesh captain on Thursday for the tour of Pakistan.

Bangladesh, who lost their last Test series 2-0 and one-dayers 3-0 in Australia last month, named a 15-man Test squad, which included two newcomers, batsman Rajin Saleh, who replaced Al-Sahariar, and medium pacer Alamgir Kabir.

Bangladesh will play three Tests and five one-day internationals, with the opening Test beginning on August 20 in Karachi.

Three players -- Tushar Imran, Hasibul Hossain and Mushfiqur Rahman -- will join the squad for the one-dayers.

Khaled Mahmud (captain), Habibul Bashar, Javed Omar, Khaled Mashud, Mohammad Rafique, Hannan Sarkar, Mohammad Ashraful, Manjurul Islam, Alok Kapali, Sanwar Hossain, Mashrafee Mortaza, Tapash Baisya, Rajin Saleh, Anwar Hossain Munir, Alamgir Kabir.
